Pay Class: Part Time

Pay: $12.82 - $17.29 per hour

The Role:

The Visionworks Sr. Optical Specialist-Lead/Sales Lead is the face of our business, dedicated to ensuring the best experience for every patient and customer. This role requires knowledge of optics, our products and services, and managed vision care. The Sr. OS guides patients/customers through their eyewear journey, ensuring their needs are met in a simple and engaging way. A minimum of 12 months optical experience is required.

The Sr. OS maintains all licensing requirements per state guidelines and dispenses eyewear where licensed.

• Achieve daily sales goals by delivering excellent customer/patient experiences
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend suitable products and services
• Measure eyewear needs and maintain product knowledge through ongoing training
• Support store operations, including opening and closing as needed in lead roles

Qualifications:

• At least 12 months optical experience or ABO Certification in lieu of experience
• HS diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Maintain required optician licenses per state guidelines
