The Role

A Visionworks Sr. Optical Specialist-Lead/Sales Lead is the face of our business, ensuring the best experience for every patient and customer. This role requires knowledge of optics, products/services, and managed vision care. The Sr. OS guides patients/customers through their experience, ensuring their eyewear needs are met in a simple, human, and bold way. A minimum of 12 months optical experience is required.

The SR. OS maintains required licenses per state guidelines and dispenses eyewear where licensed.

Responsibilities
  1. Deliver daily sales goals by ensuring excellent customer and patient experiences.
  2. Engage with patients/customers and recommend suitable products and services.
  3. Measure eyewear needs and maintain product knowledge through ongoing training.
  4. Support store operations, including opening and closing, especially in LEAD positions.
Qualifications
  • 12 months optical experience or ABO Certification.
  • HS diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Maintain required optician licenses per state guidelines.
