Pay Class: Part Time

Pay: $12.82 - $17.29 per hour

The Role:

A Visionworks Sr. Optical Specialist-Lead/Sales Lead is the face of our business, dedicated to ensuring the best experience for every patient and customer. This person is knowledgeable about optics, our products/services, and managed vision care. The Sr. OS guides patients/customers through the Visionworks experience, ensuring their eyewear needs are met simply, humanly, and confidently. A Senior Optical Specialist has at least 12 months of optical industry experience.

The SR. OS maintains license requirements per state guidelines and dispenses eyewear where licensed and required.

  • Achieves daily sales goals by delivering excellent customer/patient experiences
  • Engages with patients/customers and recommends products/services to meet their eye care needs
  • Measures patients/customers for eyewear and maintains product knowledge through ongoing training to ensure correct fit and function
  • Supports daily operational activities to meet store financial and customer experience goals, including opening and closing the store in LEAD roles

Qualifications:

  • At least 12 months of optical experience or ABO Certification in lieu of experience
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Maintains Optician License requirements per state guidelines, as needed
