Job summary

Visionworks in Spokane is seeking a Part-Time Sr. Optical Specialist - Lead to drive the customer journey and achieve daily sales goals. You will guide eyewear selections, leverage optical knowledge, and train team members to deliver excellent service.

The role emphasizes product expertise, customer experience, and accurate fitting, with opportunities to contribute to store performance and guest satisfaction in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• 12 months optical experience required or ABO Certification in lieu of experience.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience and education may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Delivers daily sales goals by ensuring best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey.
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs.
• Measure patients/customers for their eyewear and maintain product/optical knowledge through continued training to ensure eyewear is right the first time.
• Execute day-to-day store operations including restocking inventory, merchandising, and order fulfillment of eyewear.

Pay Class: Part Time

Pay Rate:$17.13 - 20.22 per hr

The Role:

A VisionworksSr. Optical Specialist - Lead/Sales Leadis the very face of our business and is dedicated to ensuring the best possible journey for every patient and customer. This person is trained and knowledgeable about optics, our products/servicesand managed vision care. The person takes the patient/customer through the Visionworks experience ensuring their eyewear needs are met in a simple,humanand bold way.

• Delivers daily sales goals by ensuring the best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey

• Measure patients/customers for their eyewear andmaintainproduct/optical knowledge through cont. training and development to ensure eyewear isRight the First Time
• Execute day-to-day operational activities to support the store's financial and customer experience goals including restocking inventory, merchandising, and order fulfillment of eyewear to ship

Qualifications:

• 12 months optical experience necessary (within Visionworks or otherorganization) orABO Certification in lieu of experience
• Related customer or patient experience preferred, but not necessary
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience
