Job summary

Visionworks of America, Inc. in Lafayette, Louisiana seeks a Sr. Optical Specialist - Lead/Sales Lead to be the face of our store, guiding patients through eyewear solutions with optical knowledge and a bold, human touch.

The part-time role supports achieving daily sales goals and delivering a seamless customer journey. Pay ranges from $11.09 to $14.97 per hour, with benefits and ongoing training opportunities for eligible part-timers.

Qualifications

• 12 months optical experience required (Visionworks or other) or ABO Certification in lieu of experience.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience.
• Related customer or patient experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Delivers daily sales goals by executing the Customer/Patient Experience journey.
• Engages with patients/customers and recommends products/services for eyewear needs.
• Measures patients/customers for eyewear and maintains product knowledge through training to ensure Right the First Time.
• Executes day-to-day store operations including restocking, merchandising, and order fulfillment of eyewear.

Pay Rate:$11.09-14.97 per hr

The Role:

A VisionworksSr. Optical Specialist - Lead/Sales Leadis the very face of our business and is dedicated to ensuring the best possible journey for every patient and customer. This person is trained and knowledgeable about optics, our products/servicesand managed vision care. The person takes the patient/customer through the Visionworks experience ensuring their eyewear needs are met in a simple,humanand bold way.

• Delivers daily sales goals by ensuring the best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs
• Measure patients/customers for their eyewear andmaintainproduct/optical knowledge through cont. training and development to ensure eyewear is Right the First Time
• Execute day-to-day operational activities to support the store's financial and customer experience goals including restocking inventory, merchandising, and order fulfillment of eyewear to ship

Qualifications:
