Job summary

Visionworks in Saint Louis Galleria, Richmond Heights, MO, is seeking a Sr. Optical Specialist - Lead/Sales Lead for part-time hours. You’ll be the face of our store, guiding patients through eyewear choices and the Visionworks experience with warmth and expertise.

The role emphasizes meeting daily sales goals, advising customers on products/services, ensuring accurate measurements and fit, and supporting store operations and training through ongoing development.

Qualifications

• 12 months optical experience necessary (Visionworks or other).
• ABO Certification can substitute for experience.

Responsibilities

• Delivers daily sales goals by ensuring the best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs
• Measure patients/customers for their eyewear and maintain product/optical knowledge through cont. training
• Execute day-to-day operational activities to support the store's goals including restocking, merchandising, order fulfillment

Pay Class: Part Time

Pay Rate:$15 -18.39 per hr

The Role:

A Visionworks Sr. Optical Specialist - Lead/Sales Leadis the very face of our business and is dedicated to ensuring the best possible journey for every patient and customer. This person is trained and knowledgeable about optics, our products/servicesand managed vision care. The person takes the patient/customer through the Visionworks experience ensuring their eyewear needs are met in a simple,humanand bold way.

• Delivers daily sales goals by ensuring the best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs
• Measure patients/customers for their eyewear andmaintainproduct/optical knowledge through cont. training and development to ensure eyewear is Right the First Time
• Execute day-to-day operational activities to support the store's financial and customer experience goals including restocking inventory, merchandising, and order fulfillment of eyewear to ship

Qualifications:

• 12 months optical experience necessary (within Visionworks or otherorganization) orABO Certification in lieu of experience
• Related customer or patient experience preferred, but not necessary
• HS diploma,GEDor equivalent related job experience
