Job summary

The Royal Standard in Metairie, LA is seeking a part-time Retail Superviser to initiate and develop customer relationships, resolve service issues, and help drive daily sales. You will operate a POS, process exchanges and refunds, and support opening and closing duties.

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

• Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing with customers and employees.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers and common fractions.

SCHEDULE REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to work 16+ hours per week
• Ability to work 2 closing shifts per week
• Ability to work 2 Saturday per month (Full or part day)
• Ability to work 2 Sundays per month from open to close (11:45am - 6:15pm)

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Must be able to stand and walk 4-5 hours at a time.
• Must have ability to view a computer screen accurately.
• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and frequently lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with the assistance of another employee.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• 1-2 years previous retail sales experience.
