Job summary

Caleres is seeking a Famous Footwear Sales Lead to create a welcoming store culture and motivate the team to deliver the Famous Feeling to every customer. You will manage daily operations, drive sales, and coach associates in selling and service.

Key responsibilities include maintaining store standards, balancing opening/closing, and collaborating with partners to ensure goals are met while upholding company policies and brand values.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Solid knowledge of general retail practices and procedures.
• Some store management or leadership experience preferred.
• Experience leading and motivating teams to hit goals.
• Ability to multitask and follow directions from store management.
• Ability to mentor and train Associates on selling and operations.
• Flexible schedule including holidays, nights, weekends, and extended hours.
• Basic computer skills required.

Responsibilities

• Inspire and coach the team to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
• Drive sales and consistently meet store goals.
• Oversee daily store operations including pricing, inventory, and merchandising.
