Job summary

Republic National Distributing Company (RNDC) is seeking a Sales Lead in Louisville, KY to proactively grow and secure sales in the assigned territory. The role focuses on servicing existing accounts while driving incremental business through consultative selling.

Responsibilities include educating customers on products, visiting accounts, and developing territory plans. Occasional evenings and weekend activities may be required to support promotional events and account activities.

Qualifications

• One year certificate from college or technical school.
• Four year college degree, preferred.
• 3-6 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Requires a current, valid state driver’s license and ability to meet vehicle insurance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Represents the voice of the customer.
• Serves the needs of existing customers within the territory.
• Educates customers on the right products.
• Uses informed selling to introduce new products and close gaps in distribution.
• Visits accounts frequently to maximize revenue potential.
• Establishes individual sales plans based on customer needs and geographies.
• Sets the selling plan for each customer and supports business goals.
• Follows up to ensure orders are delivered accurately and promptly.
• Merchandising duties if no partner are available.
• Develops sales skills and knowledge of products and customers.
• May involve nights and weekends for promotions and account activities.
