Job summary

KnitWell Group in Lafayette, CA is seeking a Sales Lead who will partner with store leaders to supervise the team and uphold brand standards. You’ll foster a welcoming, customer-centered environment that goes beyond the transaction to create memorable experiences reflecting our hospitality culture.

Responsibilities include coaching, scheduling, inventory, and ensuring compliance with store policies while driving performance and teamwork across our brands.

Qualifications

• 2 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Flexible availability — including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to bend, reach, stretch for products as well as maneuver around the sales floor and stockroom, operate the register, and lift/carry up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist the store leadership team with general store operations, including opening and closing responsibilities.
• Actively share brand priorities, initiatives, and messages with store teams.
• Lead by example on the sales floor, sharing product knowledge and utilizing an omni‑channel approach.
• Provide coaching and encouragement to keep the team on track with performance goals.
• Execute operations activities, including cash handling, scheduling, inventory management, and merchandise replenishment.
