Job summary

KnitWell Group is seeking a part-time Sales Lead for the Newport Beach, CA store. You will supervise the team, model a customer-centered hospitality approach, and help uphold brand standards to deliver memorable shopping experiences.

This role emphasizes collaboration with store leaders, coaching team members, and ensuring smooth daily operations while promoting our fashion brands in a welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years of retail management experience preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Develops strong customer and peer relationships.
• Team player with ownership and initiative.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and move merchandise on the sales floor.

Responsibilities

• Assist the store leadership team with general store operations, including opening and closing responsibilities.
• Actively share brand priorities, initiatives, and messages with store teams.
• Lead by example on the sales floor, sharing product knowledge and using an omni-channel approach.
• Provide coaching and encouragement to keep the team on track with performance goals.
• Execute operations activities, including cash handling, scheduling, inventory management, and merchandise replenishment.
• Be knowledgeable about current sales, promotions, and store policies.
• Support associate development, provide coaching feedback, and assist with scheduling when needed.
• Share ideas and insights with the store leadership team.
• Contribute to a positive work environment by embracing teamwork with peers and leaders.
