Job summary

Visionworks Sr. Optical Specialist - Lead/Sales Lead is the face of our store, dedicated to delivering the best journey for every patient. You will be trained in optics, products, and managed vision care, guiding customers through a bold and human experience.

The role focuses on meeting eyewear needs, engaging customers, and leading sales goals while ensuring accurate fitting and service excellence at the point of sale.

Qualifications

• 12 months optical experience is required (Visionworks or other).
• ABO Certification can substitute for experience.
• Customer or patient service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Achieve daily sales goals through strong customer experience.
• Engage with patients to recommend eyewear products and services.
• Measure patients for eyewear and maintain product knowledge through training.
• Support store operations including restocking, merchandising and order fulfillment.

The Role:

A Visionworks Sr. Optical Specialist - Lead/Sales Lead is the very face of our business and is dedicated to ensuring the best possible journey for every patient and customer. This person is trained and knowledgeable about optics, our products/servicesand managed vision care. The person takes the patient/customer through the Visionworks experience ensuring their eyewear needs are met in a simple,humanand bold way.

Responsibilities:

• Delivers daily sales goals by ensuring the best execution of the Customer/Patient Experience journey
• Engage with patients/customers and recommend products and services that meet their eye care needs
• Measure patients/customers for their eyewear andmaintainproduct/optical knowledge through cont. training and development to ensure eyewear is Right the First Time
• Execute day-to-day operational activities to support the store's financial and customer experience goals including restocking inventory, merchandising, and order fulfillment of eyewear to ship

Qualifications:

• 12 months optical experience necessary (within Visionworks or otherorganization) orABO Certification in lieu of experience
• Related customer or patient experience preferred, but not necessary
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience
