Sales Key Account Manager - Proteomics / Biotechnology DC Metro Remote

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Key Account Manager to join our team, focusing on proteomics and biotechnology within the DC Metro area. This role offers the flexibility of remote work and involves managing complex, high-profile accounts.

Responsibilities include:

• Developing and maintaining relationships with key decision-makers to enhance revenue and market share.
• Creating and executing multi-year strategic account plans to maximize growth and share of wallet.
• Coordinating internal resources to deliver comprehensive solutions that meet customer needs and internal value drivers.
• Driving customer-centric solutions to position our company as a critical partner.
• Maintaining awareness of market trends and competitor activities, and communicating insights to internal teams.

Minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or related field, with 5+ years in field sales account management, preferably regionally based.
• Proven ability to engage with top-tier customers on antibody applications, proteomics, and protein-based solutions.
• Track record of achieving significant growth in key accounts valued at over $1M.
• Solid understanding of the biopharma and academic life sciences markets.
• Must reside within the region and be able to travel as needed.

Preferred qualifications:

• Life sciences or biotech-related advanced degrees (PhD, MS, MBA).
• Experience with sales tools and CRMs such as Salesforce.
