Job summary

Meritage Homes is seeking a Summer Sales Internship in the Biloxi, MS area. The program offers hands-on exposure to the homebuilding process, from model homes to supporting buyers and learning our customer service approach.

As a full-time, in-person internship for Summer 2027, you will work with a seasoned sales team, participate in cross-functional projects, and develop skills while learning Meritage's strategy and values. Visa sponsorship is not provided.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a degree program at a regionally accredited university or college.
• Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work in a team.
• Interest in homebuilding, sales or related fields and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with internal leaders to learn the homebuilding industry and Meritage model.
• Learn our core values and why they drive every decision.
• Translate classroom knowledge into practical internship projects.
• Participate in cross-functional projects with interns and leaders.
• Present real-world recommendations to senior leadership.
• Write a paper focusing on the internship experience or assigned topic.
