Job summary

Meritage Homes is seeking a Sales internship for the 2027 summer season in the outskirts of the Houston, Texas Metro area. You will learn our new home sales process, work alongside our seasoned sales team, and support division needs while learning about construction, model homes, and customer service approaches.

This full-time, in-person internship offers exposure to cross-functional projects, with opportunities to present real-world recommendations to senior leadership and to develop business

Responsibilities

• Learn the homebuilding industry, Meritage model, and functional areas such as construction, land, marketing, operations, purchasing, finance, HR.
• Absorb Meritage core values and their impact on daily work.
• Translate classroom concepts into practical internship applications.
• Participate in cross-functional projects with other interns and leaders.
• Present real-world recommendations to senior leadership to influence strategy.
• Write a reflective paper on the internship experience.
