Job summary

Meritage Homes is seeking a Sales Intern for a full-time, in-person summer 2027 internship in the Huntsville, AL area. You will learn our home sales process, support sales agents, and gain exposure to the construction process and customer service approach while contributing to cross-functional initiatives.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in an accredited degree program, demonstrate integrity, collaborative spirit, and a drive to learn and contribute to Meritage’s growth and strategy.

Qualifications

• Actively enrolled in a degree program at an accredited university.
• Strong teamwork and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Willingness to learn the homebuilding process and apply classroom knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Learn our homebuilding industry, Meritage business model and an assigned functional area.
• Learn Meritage core values and why they drive the company.
• Translate classroom experience into practical application during the internship.
• Participate in cross-functional projects with other interns and business leaders.
• Present real-world business recommendations to senior leadership.
• Write a paper focusing on the internship experience or another assigned topic.
