Meritage Homes Corporation is seeking a Purchasing intern for the Biloxi, MS division. The role focuses on learning how residential construction procures labor and materials in a production environment.

You will analyze product budgets, review base house costs, options and margins, and participate in vendor negotiations while learning Meritage’s broader strategy and cross-functional projects with other interns and business leaders.

Formación

• Actively enrolled in a degree program from a regionally accredited university or college.
• Experience working in a team environment on cross-functional projects.
• Interest in homebuilding procurement and operations.

Responsabilidades

• Work closely with internal leaders to learn the homebuilding industry and Meritage’s business model.
• Learn core values and how they drive decisions and actions.
• Translate classroom experience into practical internship applications.
• Participate in cross-functional projects with other interns and leaders.
• Present real-world business recommendations to senior leadership.
• Write a paper focusing on the internship experience or a related topic.
