Job summary

Principal Financial Group is offering a Summer 2027 Workplace Benefits, Sales Internship Program. As a sales intern, you will support the Workplace Benefits sales team, assist with projects, and collaborate with other interns across the organization to learn how we distribute and support our group insurance customers.

You will partner with underwriting, marketing, product, and other teams while developing professional relationships and gaining real-world sales experience in a Fortune 500

Qualifications

• pursuing or completed undergraduate or graduate degree
• involvement in extracurricular activities and/or community involvement
• interest in a career in sales
• prior sales experience preferred
• ability to build positive relationships with internal and external partners
• strong written and verbal communication skills
• travel is required
