Job summary

UFP Industries is seeking a Summer Sales Intern for a hands‑on, in‑person role across multiple UFP locations in the United States. The internship runs 10–12 weeks and includes product and operations training, customer interactions, and field visits with mentorship.

You will work with sales, customer service, and production teams, shadow professionals, and complete a capstone project with leadership presentation. Housing stipend may be available.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

Responsibilities

• Participate in hands‑on product and operations training.
• Support sales, customer service, and production teams.
• Conduct customer visits and accompany sales representatives on sales calls.
• Assist with quoting, order entry, customer communications, and follow‑up activities.
• Prospect and identify potential customers in assigned markets.
• Conduct market research and gather competitive intelligence.
• Participate in customer presentations, facility tours, and business reviews.
• Utilize CRM tools to document customer interactions and sales opportunities.
• Analyze customer needs and recommend appropriate UFP products and solutions.
• Partner with sales professionals to develop territory growth plans and account strategies.
• Visit multiple UFP facilities to understand manufacturing and operational processes.
• Complete a capstone project focused on a customer, market, or sales opportunity and present recommendations to leadership.

Education
