Job summary

OxyChem offers a Summer Intern Program from May through August in Dallas, TX, giving hands-on experience with real projects and mentorship from industry experts. You will train across departments, shadow sales roles, and interact with leadership to build practical skills and a strong professional network.

Ideal candidates are pursuing a business, marketing, or engineering degree with a graduation date in late 2027 or 2028 and a minimum 2.85 GPA.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in relevant business/engineering fields.
• Must graduate between December 2027 and May 2028.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.85 on a 4.0 scale.

Responsibilities

• Receive training on the relevant businesses and products aligned with the internship project.
• Interact with key functional teams supporting the project and its presentation.
• Shadow sales representatives to understand sales role expectations.
• Attend training sessions with sales leadership to learn product offerings and selling techniques.
• Daily interaction with the sales management team at the Dallas headquarters.

Education

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Sales Management, Business Management, Marketing or Engineering with an emphasis in Business

Graduation date December 2027 – May 2028

Minimum 2.85 GPA on a 4.0 scale

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Sales Management, Business Management, Marketing or Engineering with an emphasis in Business

• Must maintain minimum cumulative 2.85 GPAon a 4.0 scale
• Desire to pursue a career as a Sales Professional and placement to one of OxyChem’s U.S. Sales territory locations
