Job summary

OxyChem, headquartered in Dallas, Texas, offers a Summer Intern Program in Sales Management. The intern will participate in hands-on projects, receive training across multiple business units, and work closely with sales leadership to gain practical skills and industry exposure.

The program targets students in Sales Management, Business Management, Marketing or Engineering with a Business emphasis, graduating Dec 2027–May 2028, and maintaining a 2.85 GPA.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Sales Management, Business Management, Marketing or Engineering with an emphasis in Business.
• Must have a graduation date of December 2027 - May 2028
• Must maintain minimum cumulative 2.85 GPA on a 4.0 scale
• Desire to pursue a career as a Sales Professional and placement to a U.S. Sales territory location

Responsibilities

• The intern will receive training on the relevant businesses and products that align with the sponsored internship project
• Interaction with all key functional teams that will support completion of the project and subsequent presentation
• Periodic shadowing opportunities with sales representatives to experience the expectations of a sales role
• Training sessions with sales leadership to develop understanding of OxyChem's product offerings, sales process and selling techniques
• Daily interaction with sales management team at the Dallas headquarters
