JAM Industries, a JB&A division, seeks an Inside Sales Representative in Novato, CA, hybrid role. You will drive growth by identifying opportunities within existing clients and new prospects, using outbound calls, referrals, and web leads, while collaborating with partners and the sales team to promote products and services.

The ideal candidate is sales-driven, excels at relationship building, communicates clearly, and strives to exceed targets.

Qualifications

• Must be based in the Pacific or Mountain Time Zone; West Coast candidates preferred.
• Comfortable making outbound calls and connecting with new people daily.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build lasting relationships.
• Persuasive, goal-oriented and self-motivated with a positive attitude.
• Knowledge of video, Pro AV, or digital media industries is a strong asset.

What You Will Do

As an Inside Sales Representative, you will play a key role in driving business growth by identifying new opportunities within our existing client base and uncovering new clients. You will focus on customer acquisition through outbound calling, business referrals, and web leads. Working closely with partners and the sales team, you will introduce new and existing products, foster strong relationships, and support revenue goals.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate, nurture, and strengthen relationships with partners and clients.
• Engage in proactive outreach to identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Understand customer needs and consultatively offer product solutions and services.
• Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.
• Introduce and position new and existing products within a designated territory.
• Record all daily activities accurately within CRM systems, including Zoho and NetSuite.
• Research leads using web searches, business directories, digital resources, and referrals.
• Collaborate with internal teams to create strategic approaches and deliver qualified opportunities.
• Track performance metrics to ensure consistent progress toward goals.
• Direct customers to appropriate resellers for demonstrations and events.
• Handle inbound prospect calls and convert them into business opportunities.
• Maintain a deep understanding of products, industry trends, and the competitive landscape.
• Uphold and communicate brand identity and corporate positioning.

• Proficiency with CRM systems such as Salesforce and NetSuite, as well as Microsoft Office applications including Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or a related field is an asset.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Familiarity with digital media management, IP/streaming, digital projection, or connectivity solutions is an advantage.
• Demonstrated resilience when facing rejection and the ability to remain enthusiastic and professional.
• Ability to travel occasionally for sales events or trade shows.
