Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Southeastern Louisiana is seeking a Sales Floor Lead to assist with daily store operations and drive sales while ensuring adherence to company standards. The role includes supervising staff, handling cash transactions, and maintaining a clean, organized floor.

Responsibilities include mentoring associates, ensuring proper merchandise rotation, and contributing to a positive store image. A High School diploma or GED and some supervisory experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; 6 months supervisory experience or a minimum of 90 days in the service industry.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate clearly in English.
• Prior work experience in the service industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day store operation and sales performance to meet or exceed budget while in compliance with company standards.
• Operate the cash register to make total sales, accept payment; authorize voids, returns, exchanges and credits for merchandise.
• Ensure proper rotation of store merchandise.
• Assist in training and mentoring Sales Floor Associates and court-appointed community service workers.
