Job summary

Lush Handmade Cosmetics is seeking a Temporary Part Time Floor Leader to support the Store Management Team on the shop floor. You’ll lead a team of sales associates, drive sales, and deliver exceptional customer experiences in a fast-paced retail environment.

As a Floor Leader, you’ll train staff, coach on product knowledge, and ensure brand values such as cruelty-free, ethical buying, and handmade formulations are reflected in every customer interaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in customer service and sales.
• Experience with cash handling and opening/closing procedures.
• Supervisory experience involving coaching, feedback, and training.
• Problem-solving skills in day-to-day operations.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced team environment.
• Knowledge and passion for skincare, natural beauty, and ethical business.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales and coach the sales team using StoreForce data.
• Deliver world-class customer experiences and product demonstrations.
• Educate customers on Lush values and ethical practices.
• Increase product knowledge and recommend solutions.
• Train and coach ambassadors to improve performance.
• Promote DEIB and open communication within the team.
• Maintain cash handling, opening/closing, and security.
• Monitor attendance and shift readiness.
• Keep visuals appealing and manage stock with merchandising.
• Ensure compliance with company standards and safety.
