Job Description

The Sales Executive develops and executes sales and marketing strategies to attract new groups within the Blue Plan market to attain member growth. This position leads the pharmacy sales process including the RFP process, contract negotiations, site visits and follow up meetings.

The clients for this position are in Texas and Oklahoma, preference to someone that lives in either state.

Responsibilities

  • Work with the Assistant Vice Presidents, Employer Account Directors, and the sales team to drive joint ASO sales and member growth for Prime and the assigned Plan(s), that includes regaining lives that have been carved-out, winning new carve-in business, and assisting the account management team in retaining current business and identify priority accounts while developing strategies to attain the business
  • Responsible for leading/co-leading prospecting activities with employer groups and consultants along with pipeline development/management and post bid discussions with groups/consultants while maintaining reporting in salesforce
  • Annual and quarterly forecasting of sales and meeting quarterly sales meeting requirements
  • Establish and maintain relationship with sales force and the account management teams at Plan(s) while maintaining accurate pipeline status and sales reporting/forecasting in CRM
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive knowledge of the company and our products and services, the market, the competition, and opportunities; relay Prime's key messages to appropriate members of the client sales, marketing, and account management team
  • Educate client sales, marketing, and account management teams on current topics in the industry, new product developments, and the competitive landscape; provide collateral materials and sales support to help facilitate the sales process
  • Coordinate with the VP Employer Group Sales to develop message positioning, prospect development efforts and collateral needs from a sales perspective; relay Prime's key messages to appropriate members of Account Team
  • Execute quarterly/bi-annual Go-to-Market meetings with assigned plans, review results, make and track product and service offering changes, provide market recommendations, and execute on plans in collaboration with Client Engagement and Employer Market leadership
  • Other duties as assigned

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in business or equivalent combination of education and/or related work experience; HS diploma or GED is required
  • 10 years of related work experience gaining operational knowledge of PBM organizations
  • 5 years of PBM or related sales experience
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for work visa or residency sponsorship

Additional Qualifications

  • Working knowledge of managed care organizations
  • Exceptional ability to evaluate and create opportunities, develop effective selling messages, presentations and proposals
  • Excellent communication, internal and external relationship development skills
  • Excellent organizational, project management and time management skills
  • MBA
  • 4 years of experience gaining implementation leadership within a PBM organization
  • Experience selling to ASO Employer Groups

Physical Demands

  • Ability to travel up to 40% of the time

Potential pay for this position ranges from $108,000.00 - $184,000.00 based on experience and skills.
