It works on an individual PC and is specific to the software(s) configured in the license key. It is not bound to a particular PC.
H/W keys can be damaged or lost.
This section defines the number of times and ways the hardware key can be plugged into or unplugged from the user's system after purchasing a hardware license.
It refers to the maximum number of times the hardware key has been used to launch the application. These values can be updated remotely.
When this option is selected, the client can restrict the H/W to operate within a specified duration by entering the desired Date & Time values. The user won't be able to access the application if the H/W is used before the Start Date or after the End Date. These values can be updated remotely.
This refers to the number of times the hardware key has been used to open the application without internet access. The client must set the maximum offline count. By default, this value is 0. Each time the application is opened offline, the count increments by 1. The H/W key is automatically blocked when the offline count exceeds the maximum. These values can be updated remotely.
The client can set the duration (in seconds) for which the system will detect the hardware key for the VCrypt application. The following settings are required under this section:
It shows how long the application will run without the hardware being plugged in. The client can specify this duration by entering the desired value in seconds.
If the hardware is not attached or found, the specified error message will be displayed. The client can set or select this message here.
The hardware key must be activated before first use. The client needs to select an appropriate activation option. Hardware activation requires internet access at the user's end.
For internal use, it checks if the Server Date is synchronized with the System Date. The client can also modify these settings.
