Base pay range

$70,000.00/yr - $100,000.00/yr

Location: Remote, US Eastern time zone preferred

Compensation: Total compensation ranging from $70,000 to $100,000

Pay Structure: Hourly, non-exempt position eligible for over-time with commission

Unrivaled Sports is the parent company overseeing a diverse portfolio of properties and programming across baseball, softball, football, action sports and more. As we expand, we are looking for a dynamic Head of Partnerships to join our leadership team and help us build strong partnerships that elevate our brand(s).

Overview:

The National Sales Account Executive is a self-starting inside sales professional who conceptualizes and implements various sales strategies while continuing to build sound marketing infrastructures to generate sales among both our core and new consumers for our week-long and weekend Tournaments in our Baseball and Softball programming. The National Sales Account Executive will develop new customers from referrals, prospecting lists, and outbound cold calling. The National Sales Account Executive will sell tournaments for all of our locations including Aberdeen, MD, Cooperstown All Star Village, NY, Elizabethtown, KY, Myrtle Beach, SC, Sandusky, OH, Rocker B Ranch, TX, Diamond Nation, NJ and Pigeon Forge, TN. This is a remote position.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in sales planning and execution strategies, including but not limited to direct sales calls, appointments, networking, database maintenance and client-based research.
  • Generate new leads through industry networking and prospecting new target markets.
  • Manage client relationships that ultimately spur revenue growth.
  • Work toward expanding organizational alliances and consumer base which create new target markets.
  • Communicate effectively over the phone and in-person.
  • Organize information in a meaningful manner.
  • Negotiate conversations and sales terms effectively.
  • Maintain strong customer-first focus.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sport Management, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of previous sales experience with a proven track record of success.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills are essential for this role.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills with strong sales techniques and customer service experience.
  • Excellent problem solving and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage numerous business relationships in a professional manner.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to strategize complementary opportunities.
  • Professional history of customer-oriented activity.
  • Bottom line and results oriented.
  • Aptitude to learn new skills and implement strategies.
  • Ability to participate in a strategic setting.
  • Ability to consistently represent the company in a professional, positive, and knowledgeable manner.
  • Proficient in Microsoft office applications (Word, Excel, etc.).
  • Willingness and ability to work evenings and weekends when needed.
  • Willingness to travel from time to time (approx 5-10%)

Preferred:

  • Candidate should possess an optimistic team-first attitude, as well as a competitive desire to be the best.
  • Work history involving creativity in a business setting.
  • 3+ years of progressive sales experience.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce or other CRM platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of baseball and softball industries.
  • Proven track record of exemplary Customer service experience.
  • Experience in sports-related marketing and database development.
