Job Title: Sales Executive – Environmental Toxicology
Location:Preferably based in Chatsworth, CA, but can be remote
Reports To: VP of Sales and Marketing
Employment Type: Full-Time

Our client serves a diverse client base including research institutions, government agencies, and private industry.

Position Overview:

We are seeking an energetic and driven Sales Executive to expand our market presence in environmental toxicology testing services, with a focus on biological specimens (e.g., blood, urine, tissue). The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of environmental health sciences and a proven track record in B2B sales. You will play a key role in driving revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, managing client relationships, and promoting our laboratory services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospect, develop, and close new business opportunities within environmental consulting firms, government agencies, academic research groups, and industrial clients.

  • Promote testing services focused on biological specimens for toxicological analysis (e.g., PFAS, heavy metals, persistent organic pollutants, biomarkers, pesticide testing services)

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.

  • Develop and execute sales plans to meet and exceed revenue targets.

  • Prepare proposals, quotes, and presentations tailored to client needs.

  • Collaborate with technical and operations teams to ensure customer satisfaction and project success.

  • Track sales activities and opportunities using CRM software.

  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and competitor activities.

  • Attend trade shows, conferences, and networking events to generate leads.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Toxicology, Biology, Chemistry, or a related field.

  • 3+ years of sales experience, preferably in laboratory testing services, environmental health, or related industries.

  • Strong network in construction, manufacturing, energy, agriculture, oil refining, and waste management.

  • Strong knowledge of environmental toxicology and biological specimen testing is highly desirable.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

  • Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.

  • Self-motivated with strong organizational and time-management abilities.

  • Proficient in CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Willingness to travel as needed (up to 30%).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with government contracts or grant-funded projects.

  • Existing client relationships in environmental health sectors.

  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (EPA, CDC, OSHA) related to toxicology testing.
