Thompson Denver is seeking a Sales, Events & Marketing Coordinator to act as the liaison between sales, catering and other hotel departments, delivering thoughtful customer service and handling inquiries, VIP stays, and weekly reports. The role supports a luxury guest experience within a dynamic hospitality team in Denver.

The Sales, Events & Marketing Coordinator are responsible and is to serve as the departmental liaison between sales, catering and all other hotel departments.

Thoughtful and thorough customer service on the phone, over email and in person.

Assist Sales and Catering department with phone inquiries and lead forms; assist guests with questions, changes and special requests.

Ensure no leads are abandoned and all calls are returned within four hours and requests are communicated to appropriate departments.

Assist with VIP stays from reservation requests and preparation, to VIP amenities and thank you notes.

Run weekly sales and catering reports.

Data entry in management systems; create and follow new procedures for tracking and managing client and guest stays.

Daily checks of all arrival reservations to ensure information is added accurately and all departments are aware of relevant requests.

Detailed checks of all weekly arrivals daily using customized arrivals report searching for any possible VIP guests, checking all listed requests for accuracy, adding pictures to PMS when possible.

Communicate with sales managers and front desk on status of group information.

Maintain complete knowledge at all times of: All hotel features/services, hours of operation, room types, numbers, layout, décor, appointments and location, room rates, special packages and promotions.

Assist accounting on follow-up for outstanding receivables for groups past 60 days due.

Coordinate all marketing efforts around advertising, online media, events, collaborations and occasions that perpetuate the hotel story in the community and in the press.

Proficiency in design applications is required to create and maintain in-room collateral, photography, press kits, e-marketing initiatives, invitations, event material and working with brand designers when necessary.

Coordinate and disseminate social media content with agency of record to ensure a consistent brand message is delivered whilst maintaining hotel’s unique identity

Observe local social scene and make recommendations to DOSM on trends; including staying up to date on competitor activity

The budgeted rate for this position is $23 - $25. include Actual pay will be commensurate with experience
