Life Enriching Communities in Columbus Metro Area is seeking a Sales Event Coordinator to plan and facilitate prospect events, manage invitations and reservations, and coordinate with residents and families. The role emphasizes sales support, hospitality, and effective communication with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma (college degree preferred), experience in marketing or event planning, and a customer-service mindset.

Formación

• High School Diploma; college degree preferred.
• Marketing, sales, event planning and/or customer service experience.
• Experience in a continuing care retirement community is a plus.
• Valid Ohio Driver’s License.
• Customer-service oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Excellent organizational skills and initiative.
• Patience and compassion for others.

Responsabilidades

• Plans and facilitates prospect events with dining and other departments to include creation of invitations, reservations, event details, etc.
• Builds relationships with incoming residents and families.
• Plans and assists with execution of events, to include lead generation opportunities.
• Assists staff with a variety of projects and requests with a focus on sales, marketing and hospitality.
• Provides coverage for Sales department in the absence of Administrative Assistant and Sales Specialist.
• Contact referral sources as needed.
• Complete Sherpa to identify event ideas.

Role Information

Location: Columbus Metro Area

Schedule: Full-Time I Monday-Friday, 9:00am -5:30pm flexed scheduled with Evening and Weekend availability for events

You, our Ideal Candidate

The Event Coordinator is responsible for all aspects related to planning sales events. Acts as facilitator and communicates with various departments and outside partners to ensure a successful event. This position requires strong communication with team members, residents and family members

Requirements

• High School Diploma. College degree in related field preferred.
• Related experience in marketing, sales, and event planning and/or customer service preferred.
• Experience in a continuing care retirement community a plus.
• Valid Ohio Driver’s License.
• Must possess a customer service background and orientation with demonstrated problem solving skills.
• Microsoft office proficiency.
• Demonstrates initiative along with excellent organizational skills.
• High level of patience and compassion for others.
