Job summary

Life Enriching Communities is seeking a Sales Events Coordinator in the Columbus area to plan and execute prospect events, coordinate with dining and other departments, and foster strong relationships with residents and families.

The role emphasizes strong communication, organizational skills, and hospitality, with full-time hours and opportunities to contribute to the sales and marketing teams while supporting the resident experience.

Qualifications

• Must possess a customer service background and orientation with demonstrated problem solving skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and initiative.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Plans and facilitates prospect events with dining and other departments to include creation of invitations, reservations, event details, etc.
• Builds relationships with incoming residents and families.
• Plans and assists with execution of events, to include lead generation opportunities.
• Assists staff with a variety of projects and requests with a focus on sales, marketing and hospitality.
• Provides coverage for Sales department in the absence of Administrative Assistant and Sales Specialist.
• Contact referral sources as needed.
• Complete Sherpa to identify event ideas.

You, our Ideal Candidate

The Event Coordinator is responsible for all aspects related to planning sales events. Acts as facilitator and communicates with various departments and outside partners to ensure a successful event. This position requires strong communication with team members, residents and family members

Requirements

High School Diploma. College degree in related field preferred.

Related experience in marketing, sales, and event planning and/or customer service preferred.

Experience in a continuing care retirement community a plus.

• Must possess a customer service background and orientation with demonstrated problem solving skills.
• Microsoft office proficiency.
• Demonstrates initiative along with excellent organizational skills.
• High level of patience and compassion for others.
