Job summary

Life Enriching Communities is seeking an Events and Programs Specialist to plan, develop, and coordinate activities for residents and families at Wesley Ridge in Reynoldsburg. The role focuses on wellness, social engagement, and a positive community experience.

You will lead creative events, coordinate volunteers, prepare activity assessments, and support transportation needs while ensuring compliance and high standards of safety.

Qualifications

• CNA certification preferred.
• 2 years of experience in social or recreational programming in a health-care setting working with residents.
• Dementia experience preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills with demonstrated creativity.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Participates in planning and leads creative community events and programs of interest to residents and families.
• Organize volunteers.
• Prepares activity assessments and MDS for each resident according to regulatory requirements and completes participation in Caretracker.
• Prepares progress notes per regulatory standards.
• Assists with arranging transportation to events, programs and field trips as necessary.
• Implements passive exercise and wellness programs on the nursing units.

• Location: Wesley Ridge – 2225 Taylor Park Dr, Reynoldsburg, OH 43068
• Schedule: Part-Time | Tuesdays and Thursdays, 9:00am-5:00pm; Wednesdays and rotating Saturdays 2:00pm- 6:00pm
