Job summary

Global Finishing Solutions is seeking a Sales Estimator to turn customer needs and project plans into accurate, competitive quotes. You will review drawings, calculate material, labor, and vendor costs, and coordinate with sales, engineering, purchasing, design, and scheduling from quote entry through shipment.

In this role you’ll apply strong math skills, read blueprints, and develop reliable estimates while balancing profitability and customer needs.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree with 1–2 years of sales experience and a mechanical background.
• Able to read construction or engineering blueprints; CAD experience preferred.
• Strong math, attention to detail, and cost-estimation ability.

Responsibilities

• Turn customer requests, drawings, and specifications into accurate, competitive quotes.
• Read blueprints and technical documents to understand project requirements and risks.
• Coordinate with sales, engineering, design, purchasing, scheduling, and shipping from quote to shipment.
• Maintain accurate quotes, sales orders, change orders, project documents, and schedules.
• Consider material costs, labor, vendor pricing, potential delays, and profitability factors.
