Job Description

Major Asphalt/Concrete Company is seeking individuals with experience in Asphalt Paving/Maintenance/Estimating and Sales. Qualified candidates should have knowledge of asphalt paving, sealcoating, pavement maintenance, and concrete. We are looking for an outside sales representative who is motivated, dependable, honest, organized, and knowledgeable to join our sales team.

Requirements

Candidates with knowledge of asphalt and concrete must have the ability to sell repairs such as paving, seal coating, crack filling, striping, infrared repair, concrete, storm/drain repair, as well as snow plowing services.

As a member of our sales team, you will need to:

  1. Be able to read blueprints and plans.
  2. Take field measurements to deliver accurate estimates to our customers.
  3. Have excellent math skills to properly calculate job estimates.
  4. Properly diagnose properties for accurate repairs.
  5. Have excellent communication skills.
  6. Demonstrate organization and attention to detail when communicating with customers, estimating, managing time, answering questions, and resolving issues or concerns.
  7. Present yourself professionally in person or on the phone.
  8. Maintain a positive attitude, willingness to learn, make decisions, and follow directions.
  9. Possess computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, and QuickBooks; other programs can be trained.
  10. Be available to work Monday through Saturday (Sundays off), be on call, and answer phones.
