Job summary

The Timken Company in North Canton, Ohio offers a Sales Engineering Development Program for graduates in mechanical engineering. The six-month training program at our Corporate Headquarters prepares you to apply technical knowledge to real customer challenges.

After training you will be placed into a sales office or territory within the United States, managing a portfolio of OEMs, distributors, and end users while building strong relationships.

Qualifications

• Leadership experience demonstrated in academic, extracurricular activities, or employment.
• Engineering internships/co-ops preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering field; GPA 2.8 or above; eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Complete a six-month training program at our Corporate Headquarters.
• After training, join a sales office or territory within the United States.
• Manage a portfolio of OEMs, distributors, and end users, leveraging technical and commercial expertise.
• Build strong relationships and travel within your territory.
