The Timken Company is seeking an Application Engineer Development Program participant in North Canton, Ohio. You will analyze customer requirements to develop optimized bearing and system solutions, serving as the technical contact for a product line or market segment.

Through a structured 6-month training program, you will gain exposure to all aspects of our business and start contributing immediately. This role requires relocation to North Canton and a commitment to the program and site.

Formación

• Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering degree with a 2.8+ GPA.
• College graduate by May 2027 for program eligibility.
• Engineering internships/co-ops preferred.
• Leadership experience in academics or activities.
• Willingness to relocate to North Canton, Ohio for HQ.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsabilidades

• Understand customer needs by developing analytical models for engineering goals.
• Perform studies and analyses for broad bearing applications and develop proposals.
• Lead new product/process requests and verify surrounding systems for performance.
• Compare manufacturability and cost of solutions; present to customers.
• Provide ongoing technical assistance through product development and service life.

Educación

Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering degree

College graduate (Dec 2026 - May 2027)

Minimum GPA 2.8

Engineering internships/co-ops preferred

Leadership experience

Willing to relocate to North Canton OH

Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
