Job summary

LHH is seeking a Sales Engineering Manager for a metal stamping leader. This role leads a Sales Engineering and Prototype team in a manufacturing setting, combining technical sales support, customer collaboration, prototype development, and team leadership to drive new business and product launches into production.

Expect up to 25% travel and close collaboration with operations, BD, and customers to ensure successful project execution and growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical experience.
• 10+ years of manufacturing experience, preferably in metal fabrication or stamping.
• Leadership and team development experience.
• Strong blueprint reading, GD&T, CAD, and cost estimating skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead sales engineering and prototype activities.
• Support customer-facing technical sales initiatives and value engineering efforts.
• Coordinate with business development and operations to improve project execution.
• Monitor team performance and identify growth opportunities.
• Manufacturing-focused leadership role with customer interaction and moderate travel.
