Job summary

LHH in Wisconsin is seeking a Product Development Engineer to drive concept-to-launch activities for metal products. You will collaborate across engineering, manufacturing and customer teams to develop prototypes, validate designs and ensure manufacturing feasibility.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on product development experience, strong sheet metal design skills and the ability to troubleshoot and launch new products successfully.

Qualifications

• BS in Mechanical Engineering or related with 3+ years of product development experience.
• Proficiency in Creo, SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
• Strong sheet metal design and manufacturing knowledge.
• Experience with FEA, FMEA, DOE and DFMA.
• BOM, routing and MRP experience.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel up to 15%.

Responsibilities

• Lead product development projects from concept through launch.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing and customers to develop prototypes.
