Job summary

A leading appliance manufacturer in Louisville, KY is seeking a Principal Advanced Manufacturing Engineer – Metal Stamping to oversee the design, procurement, and installation of large metal stamping presses. This role requires an individual with a strong background in tooling procurement and project management, particularly in high-volume metal stamping environments. Successful candidates will have extensive experience in Lean manufacturing, advanced product quality planning, and engineering solutions that optimize production effectiveness. Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in tooling procurement and die design concepts.
• Experience managing large capital equipment projects for metal stamping.
• Proficient with simulation software and 3D CAD software.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and commissioning of metal stamping presses.
• Manage project execution by handling schedules and overall progress.
• Ensure compliance with EHS standards and support Lean Manufacturing.
