The Sales Engineering (SE) Enablement Manager is an individual contributor role and reports to the Sr. Director of Arctera Sales Enablement and partners closely with SE leaders, Product teams, Marketing, Services, and more. This high-impact role is all about building scalable, effective programs that boost the performance of our global Sales Engineering (SE) team.

We’re looking for someone who thrives on turning complexity into clarity, enabling SEs to spend more time selling, ramp faster, and win more deals—more efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Drive SE Efficiency at Scale Build repeatable programs that remove friction from the sales process and increase SE productivity. Partner with leaders and SMEs to scale impact—because programs scale, people don’t.
  • Accelerate SE Onboarding Own and evolve SE new hire enablement to cut ramp time and drive faster time-to-first technical win. Keep onboarding current and aligned with both our tech and our go-to-market strategy.
  • Lead Ongoing Enablement Shape and run ongoing training strategies that keep SEs sharp—on product, tech trends, architectures, processes, and selling skills. Work cross-functionally to tap SME knowledge at scale.
  • Support Technical Channel Partners Coordinate with Partner Enablement to ensure our channel and alliance partners are technically ready and aligned—efficiently and consistently.
  • Streamline Technical Sales Motions Improve execution of POCs, demos, and RFx responses. Help SEs win more, faster, and with less overhead by optimizing these repeatable motions.
  • Use Data to Guide Strategy Build and use dashboards to track enablement effectiveness, spotlight gaps, and guide continuous improvement. Show how enablement directly moves the needle.
  • Lead Strategic Projects Jump in on high-impact initiatives that shape how we sell, scale, and serve.
  • Global Collaboration This is a remote-first role (U.S., Canada, or GMT). Expect to travel ~1x/month for live collaboration. Video-on culture is part of how we stay connected.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, IT, or equivalent practical experience
  • Experience influencing executive leadership, cross-functional stakeholders and aligning enablement to sales strategy
  • 5+ years in a Sales Engineering, Presales, or related technical customer-facing role in enterprise B2B software
  • Proven experience building or delivering enablement programs for technical audiences
  • Deep understanding of data resiliency, compliance, and protection technologies
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with a professional, collaborative presence

Additional Qualifications

  • Program management experience coordinating across global teams
  • Familiarity with enablement tools, LMS platforms, and performance metrics
  • Ability to create clarity from ambiguity and move fast without perfect information
  • Deep experience presenting to both technical and sales leadership audiences
  • Passion for helping others grow, scale, and succeed
