Job summary

OTC Industrial Technologies is seeking a Sales Engineer to engage with decision-makers in OTC products and services and work with engineers to identify solutions. The role includes delivering product presentations, performing start-up service, and building lasting relationships with customers and vendors.

You will analyze equipment performance, conduct failure analyses, and drive improvement programs while maintaining knowledge of API and ASME standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or related field) preferred.
• Experience with centrifugal pumps, pump systems, and related rotating equipment required.
• Engineering background to understand technical applications and customer requirements.
• Experience in technical sales, applications engineering, or industrial equipment solutions preferred.
• Strong understanding of rotating equipment and pump applications.

Responsibilities

• Engage with decision-makers for OTC products and services.
• Collaborate with engineers and maintenance professionals to solve problems.
• Conduct product presentations and demonstrations for customers.
• Build rapport and conduct joint sales calls with manufacturers.
• Attend sales and company meetings as required.
• Maintain a high level of product and industry knowledge.
• Strengthen relationships with customers and vendors through entertainment.
• Provide start-up service and support when needed.
• Perform failure analysis of mechanical equipment and report findings.
• Manage equipment performance improvement programs and report results quarterly.
