Job summary

Peterson Power Systems, Inc. is seeking an experienced Sales Engineer for our Hillsboro, OR location.

You will support AWS or MCT accounts, integrate products with our portfolio, and travel to customer sites to verify installations meet requirements. The role requires a BS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and at least three years in power generation or the construction industry, plus a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering and a minimum of three years of directly related experience in power generation or construction industry.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Review technical aspects of project bid documents to assure requirements are met and offer solutions for compliance.
• Review project requirements and propose value-added solutions when applicable.
• Draft Customer Solution Quoter (CSQ) configuration with sales and estimators to establish project cost on complex projects.
• Coordinate with AWS or MCT support teams, engineers, contractors, and end users to answer application and installation questions.
• Travel to customer sites and manufacturers (up to 50% travel).
• Collaborate with Project Managers or the MCT on assigned projects.
