Job summary

Peterson Power Systems, Inc. in Hillsboro, OR, seeks a Project Engineer to serve as the technical liaison between Sales/Project Managers and customers on standby power systems and related projects.

You will prepare detailed submittals, interface with Caterpillar and vendors, maintain engineering drawings databases, and collaborate with Project Managers. Travel up to 10% to client sites and meetings may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of three years of directly related experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.

Responsibilities

• Act as technical liaison between Sales/Project Managers and Customers.
• Prepare detailed engineering submittals for standby power systems and related projects.
• Interface with Caterpillar and outside vendors to gather documentation.
• Generate official correspondence and responses to submittal review comments.
• Maintain and update engineering and CAT drawings databases.
