Job summary

RMS Installs is seeking an experienced Sales Engineer to design, present, and sell integrated technology solutions for residential and commercial clients.

The role involves on-site evaluations, designing complete systems, preparing proposals and equipment lists, and coordinating with our operations and project management teams for successful project handoff and execution. Compensation is base salary plus commission with earnings tied to performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in home automation, custom integration, low-voltage systems, AV, networking, security, commercial AV, or related technology industries is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct residential and commercial on-site evaluations.
• Consult with clients regarding requirements and budgets.
• Design complete integrated technology systems.
• Prepare proposals, scopes of work, equipment lists, and project estimates.
• Present proposals and technical solutions to clients.
• Coordinate handoffs with operations, project managers, and technicians.
• Develop relationships with homeowners, builders, contractors, architects, designers, property managers, and commercial clients.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and follow up with sales opportunities.
• Meet established sales and revenue objectives.
