Job summary

SITECH Louisiana is seeking a Sales Engineer to cover the North Louisiana territory. The Sales Engineer is responsible for performing all aspects of product support and training.

The role involves staying current on Trimble Construction Technology, delivering technical demonstrations, supporting customers, and collaborating with the sales team to help clients move dirt faster, more accurately, and with lower costs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Heavy Civil Construction.
• 2+ years supporting and training Trimble products.
• Experience in advanced grading.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Primary source of sales support and training for customers.
• Maintains technical expertise of Trimble products.
• Advises clients on products or services to meet needs in terms of functionality, quality, price and delivery.
• Prepares and delivers technical sales demonstrations and training.
• Primary technical contact for sales.
• Communicates with the sales team and technical support to solve client problems.
• Proactively gathers information to improve SITECH and Trimble offerings.
• Supports marketing by attending trade shows and events.
• Monitors trends to assist in daily operations management.
