You will be responsible for

As a Sales Engineer in the Cybersecurity Industry, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between our technical solutions and our clients' needs. You will be responsible for understanding the intricacies of our product portfolio and effectively communicating their value proposition to your customers. You are:

  • A technical resource who uses your industry, product, and solution expertise to educate customers on solutions that are aligned with their business objectives.
  • A partner with your sales counterpart to design and implement a plan that aligns with the team’s goals—making quota, providing successful outcomes for customers, and fostering an effective working environment.
  • A highly valued member of the sales team, creating trusted advisor relationships with customers to complement the sales/SE partnership.
Responsibilities:
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with your customers, acting as a trusted advisor responsible for the end-to-end technical relationship—be the CTO of your account.
  • Develop a deep understanding of the customer’s technical environment, business objectives, and pain points, aligning those with the right Check Point solutions.
  • Collaborate with sales to identify and close sales opportunities through account planning, campaign development, and active engagement, owning technical closure.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of cybersecurity, industry trends, and competitive positioning.
  • Respond to RFPs/RFIs effectively.
  • Present Check Point’s technology vision and value proposition to diverse audiences, from executives to technical practitioners.
  • Lead meetings, communicate effectively, and influence decisions through presentations, demonstrations, and technical discussions.
  • Own your accounts by providing thought leadership and ensuring customer interests are prioritized.
  • Maintain up-to-date product knowledge, competitive insights, and market understanding.
  • Utilize resources to manage whitespace and drive expansion of current and new product lines.
  • Develop and execute strategic technical account plans targeting cross-platform solutions.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver a seamless customer experience and achieve outcomes.
  • Partner with solutions architects, specialists, customer success managers, and other teams to ensure success across the customer journey.
  • Participate in special projects and continuously invest in developing your technical and professional skills.
Qualifications

What you bring to the table

  • 5+ years of sales, solutions, systems engineering, or pre-sales experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Solid understanding of networking, security principles, and customer architectures.
  • Ability to design and articulate end-to-end security solutions.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CISSP, CCSA, or CCSE are highly preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%, including internationally.
  • Must be eligible to work in the US without sponsorship now or in the future.
