Job Title: Business Development / Sales Engineer (Remote)

Note: This fully remote role requires candidates to live within the SF Bay Area and involves travel within the territory to develop and maintain key accounts.

Job Description: As a Business Development / Sales Engineer, you will execute technical work and ensure exceptional service delivery. We seek individuals who demonstrate high-impact behaviors, are inspired to innovate, empowered to lead, and accountable for success.

Responsibilities:

  1. Serve as the primary relationship owner and technical resource for designated accounts, ensuring superior customer service and tailored account planning.
  2. Travel within the territory to develop Priority OEM, Emerging Winner, and Priority CMO accounts to meet revenue targets and territory budgets.
  3. Maintain and update the sales pipeline for these accounts, documenting interactions in the CRM system.
  4. Develop and execute strategies aligned with customer focus areas, conducting internal reviews to track progress.
  5. Provide technical support, including managing specifications, requirements, delivering product training, and leading technical presentations.
  6. Coordinate Continuous Improvement Process (CIP) and Value Improvement Process (VIP) activities with accounts.
  7. Support project management efforts to advance accounts into production.

Essential Skills:

  • Experience in the medical device industry.
  • Proficiency in account management and technical resource allocation.
  • Ability to travel and develop territory for OEM and CMO accounts.
  • Experience with CRM systems for sales pipeline management.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Project management experience.
  • Ability to develop and implement integrated strategies.
  • Experience delivering technical training and presentations.

Work Environment: This is a fully remote position requiring residence within the SF Bay Area and travel within the territory. The environment involves collaboration across departments and accounts, with a business casual dress code.

Pay and Benefits: Salary range is $90,000 - $125,000 annually, with benefits including medical, 401k, vacation, and holidays.
