Job summary

Yaskawa America, Inc. - Drives & Motion Division is seeking a Drives Sales Engineer to manage sales activities for our low voltage variable frequency drives group in the Phoenix territory.

The role supports both the distribution channel and direct customers in a wide range of industrial applications. The successful candidate will address product and commercial issues at all customer levels and provide application knowledge on automation products and systems.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or 4–10+ years of practical sales experience.
• Requires strong professional sales abilities and proven sales record.
• Includes understanding of US factory automation market, channels, and strategies.
• Requires ability to communicate value propositions and build relationships across customers and channels.

Responsibilities

• Manage sales activities for the low voltage variable frequency drives group in the Phoenix territory.
• Support Yaskawa Distribution Channel and Direct Customers across industrial/applications.
• Communicate Yaskawa value proposition and quality focus to field teams.
• Present product and commercial issues to all levels of the customer's organization.
• Provide application and process knowledge on automation products and systems.
• Residence within the territory is preferred.
