Job summary

Yaskawa America, Inc. - Drives & Motion Division in Phoenix seeks a Drives Sales Engineer to manage sales activities for low voltage variable frequency drives.

You will support the distribution channel and direct customers across a broad set of industrial applications, acting as a liaison to communicate Yaskawa value and field data across teams. The ideal candidate will have strong sales experience in factory automation, knowledge of Yaskawa and competitor products, and the ability to develop

Qualifications

• Minimum of four years field experience selling Yaskawa or competitor automation product lines.
• Strong professional sales abilities with proven sales record and understanding of US factory automation market.
• Thorough understanding of situational selling, value propositions and interpersonal relationships.
• Experience supporting and managing sales channels including distributors, VARs, integrators, reps.

Responsibilities

• Address and present product and commercial issues to all levels of the customer's organization.
• Provide application and process knowledge on automation products and systems.
• Reside within the territory and engage both distribution channel and direct customers.
• Leverage channel partners and field resources to drive growth in the Phoenix area.
