Job summary

A leading placement service is looking for a Sales Engineer for their CNC capital equipment manufacturing client in Dayton, OH. This direct-hire position offers competitive compensation and requires at least 5 years of sales experience with capital machining tools along with a Bachelor’s in business. The ideal candidate will create business plans, develop new accounts, and must be familiar with Salesforce software. Frequent travel is required to service accounts and meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Ability to develop new accounts and service existing accounts.
• Willingness to travel frequently for work.

Responsibilities

• Create territorial business plans and sales strategies.
• Work closely with Engineering and Service to meet service level agreements.

Job Description

Sales Engineer needed for our CNC capital equipment manufacturing client in Dayton, OH. Direct-hire position, not a contract, with competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s in business plus minimum 5 years of recorded sales experience with capital machining equipment/tools; ability to create territorial business plans and sales strategies; develop new accounts, service existing accounts, and generate new leads to ensure the territory is effectively covered and supported (prior experience in medical device industry a major plus).
• Will need to work closely with Engineering, Service, Contract Administration and management to meet service level agreements with customers, and integrate sales and individual activities into client’s CRM system.
• Must be familiar with Salesforce CRM software, MS Office Suite, and be willing and able to travel 50 - 75% of the time.
